Privacy notice

This notice explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information connected with this website and our marketing activity.

It applies to website visitors, prospective clients, and other people who contact us or whose business contact details we use in the normal course of running the business.

Cookies and analytics

For general website visitors, we do not currently set first-party marketing or preference cookies.

For analytics, we don't use anything. We do not track your visit to our site.

If you use a part of the site that requires a login, session cookies may be set so the service works properly. Those cookies are used for session management rather than tracking and are removed when the session ends.

Third-party services involved in hosting, embedded content, or linked platforms may still place their own cookies or similar identifiers. Where that happens, their own policies will apply.

What data we collect

We may collect personal information that you provide when you contact us or engage with us about our services.

We may also collect limited business contact information from professional sources such as LinkedIn, referrals, or introductions where that is relevant to our legitimate business activity.

This may include information such as:

  • Your name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Job title
  • Other business contact details

What we do not collect through this site

We do not intend to collect special category personal data through this website.

Where personal data is processed as part of client work, that is handled under the relevant contract, confidentiality terms, and project-specific arrangements.

How we collect your data

We collect data when:

  • You contact us directly by email or through professional platforms such as LinkedIn.
  • We meet, are introduced, or receive a referral in the normal course of business.
  • We work with you under the terms of a client contract.

Why we collect your data

We collect and use personal data to:

  • Communicate with you and respond to enquiries
  • Provide services to clients
  • Manage client and prospective-client relationships
  • Improve our services and how this website performs

Data sharing and storage

We use service providers to support the business, including:

  • Microsoft 365 for email, communication, and document storage
  • DigitalOcean for website hosting
  • Cloudflare for security such as TLS and denial of services protection

Where possible, we use UK-based infrastructure. Where that is not available, we rely on appropriate contractual and legal safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses and Data Processing Agreements.

How long we keep your data

Client data is retained in line with the relevant contract and then securely deleted when no longer needed.

For leads and prospective clients, we keep information only for as long as it remains relevant to the purpose for which it was collected.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have rights including the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and in some circumstances to object to or restrict processing.

To make a request or ask a question, contact us at [email protected].

Relatable Security Limited is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under registration number ZB881930.

We use proportionate technical and organisational measures including:

  • Least privilege and data minimisation
  • Secure-by-default principles
  • Access controls and password management
  • Device management and basic endpoint security
  • Encryption of data at rest and in transit where appropriate
